The Texas House of Representatives passed HB 2516, the Chris Larkin ALS Act, a bipartisan bill ensuring Texans under age 65 living with ALS have access to affordable Medicare insurance.

“HB 2516 is a compassionate and commonsense step forward for families facing an incredibly difficult diagnosis.

“Every day matters for those battling ALS, and this bill reflects our responsibility to act with urgency, empathy, and purpose.”

-Representative Ann Johnson (HD-134), joint author of the bill.
